VOXAPELLA SERIES VOL.6: KG SINGERS / KNELL split c20 INW288The latest installment in the VX Series. This time from 2 long time friends KG Singers + Knell. KG = Kayla Guthrie who is from BC but is now based in NYC. She used to sing for the new-wave dance punk outfit Fuck Me USA and had a brief stint with Channels 2 & 3 and noise trio Teen Community back in Van-City before she split. She’s crafted some beauties here for the series. Five sweet tracks from straight-up vox only bits to effected melodies.Backed by Knell - the amazing Vancouver musician Larissa Loyva - who you may know from her pop project Kellarissa. She’s also played with P:ano, Choir Practice, Leviathans and she has a new synth pop-punk group Fake Tears. Knell is her more noisy / abrasive side, heavy FX with a constant throb.
